Okay, now I really took my time! Grr why doesn't LJ inform me per e-mail when there's a comment to one of my entries?! LJ hates me. *sobs dramatically*

Anyway, here we go:

1. Tell you why I friended you.
I thought a long time about friending you but didn't dare to. I mean, you're, like, the queen of FAKE fanfiction and I was impressed by you and your work, plus I found you (and still find you) very sympathetic but I was just too shy. Then you friended me and I friended you back of course and was happy. :D

2. Associate you with something.
FAKE of course! And Canada. And cats. Plus, I once searched out some songs fitting the titles of your fanfiction (I wanted to make a video with them but still didn't have time for that) and every time I listen to these songs, I'm thinking of you and your LJ and I begin to smile stupidly.

3. Tell you something I like about you.
Your humour. Your talent as a writer. Your ability to keep track of even the most complicated and longest storyline. Your creativity and your never ending, great ideas for stories. Your productivity. Your love and passion for FAKE, Fluffy and your husband. Your analytical mind. And, of course, the way you take care of your friends and fans and reply to every comment even though you're always busy.

4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
I still remember the story with the two lesbian ladies getting naughty in a public shower. That was really funny. Besides, I always sympathize with your cat experiences / cat problems. Right now, I remember for example your fight against an enormous spider and how Fluffy (hopefully) killed the beast; but I also remember how you once accidentally lay down in cat puke. When I read that, I laughed and felt sorry for you at the same time and hoped that Steffi will never puke in my bed.
(Yeah, that's what I remember about you: cat puke. I'm charming, aren't I? :D)

5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
Dee/Ryo of course! Our all-time-favourite couple.

6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
What exactly do you do at your job and do you like it? And when did you start writing?
(I hope two questions are okay as well.)

7. Tell you my favourite userpic of yours.
Oh God, I can't decide! They are all so sweet. I really like the one of the sleeping cat because it looks so relaxed and reminds me of Steffi. But I also love the coloured manga scan of Dee sleeping and the "Bang Bang" icon of Ryo. Because both pictures show sides of their personalities that we rarely get to see, especially in fanfiction.

8. Tell you that you must post this in your own journal.
Oh, that was it already? Wow, I had more ideas than I feared I would. Well, and since you already posted this in your journal, we're done now - nearly done. I'll wait for your answers! :)

Thank you! I so enjoyed this.

I'm glad you overcame your shyness and started commenting on my posts. You were the first person to ever post on my LJ via Twitter.

I'm always happy to interact with people; that's why I have an LJ account and don't post on adfultfanfiction.net where no one ever comments. I can't tell you how much fun I've had with FAKE and LJ over the years. I always wanted my LJ to be a friendly, welcoming place where people can feel safe.

One day, please tell me which songs you think go with which stories I wrote! That sounds like such a cool idea. I would post the list on my LJ. I bet other people would be interested, too.

I think it's hysterical that you remember me lying down in cat puke! Of course it wasn't funny at the time, but I thought my readers would appreciate hearing about my mishap.

I'll send you a PM about my job, since I'm still making sort of an effort to keep my identity as secret as possible. I guess I probably shouldn't have put my cat's name all over my LJ, but way back when I first started, I wasn't worrying because no one was checking my LJ. Now I get tons of hits, and I know there are some people in my city who read my LJ. I would die of embarrassment if anyone from my RL read one of my steamy sex scenes!

I started writing in 2005. Never wrote anything before, except essays and assignments when I was a student. Nothing creative whatsoever. But my head was full of stores that I told myself.

Thanks for all the nice things you said about me! I grinned all the way through this post. The "Queen", huh? That's going to be news to JJ! he thinks HE's The Queen of Fake!

Really, I was the first one? Cool, now I feel special! :D

I already had some unpleasant experiences with writing forums where noone commented, too. I think the problem is that at large websites like adultfanfiction.net or Fanfiction.net, everything is so impersonal. I guess that many people go there just to read the stories, not to interact or to have anything to do with the authors.

At your LJ, it's different: It's like your personal little world and visitors don't only read your stories there, but also some of your real life adventures and get to know you a little. Because of this, I think that the motivation to leave comments is higher.

Of course, this is no excuse to not leave any comments at adultfanfiction.net etc., but maybe it explains the behaviour of the readership a little. ;)

If you like the idea with the songs so much, maybe I should finally finish the video (I started it some months ago, but then kinda forgot about it). And if I won't manage to finish it during the next few weeks, maybe I'll just give you the list. :D

I can totally understand your wish to stay anonymous. And I have the same fear that someday, somehow, someone from my RL finds something really embarrassing that I posted on the internet. Or finds out about my yaoi obsession. ^^

But then again, it would be so boring if we wouldn't post anything personal about us on the internet, wouldn't it? :)
(by the way, I'm going to send you a PM as well - there's something I'd like to tell you that I can't write here...)

2005? That's only 7 years ago! I thought you'd been writing your whole life! 2005... I was ten years old back then. I think that was about the time that I started writing, too. (Not that anything I wrote in that age was worth reading though...)

Oh dear, I didn't mean Queen like that! xD I hope you won't get into a fight with JJ now... and it's all my fault... oh no, what have I done... xD
Well, but since you can determine JJ's fate with just a few words, I don't think he would dare to fight with you. ^^

(By the way, isn't my new avatar amazing? xD I think I'll spend the next days making animated avatars. It's so much fun! And I didn't even know how to do it until I did a little research for my tutorial. Guess I have to thank you for that! ^_^ )

You're exactly right in your comparison of AFF and my LJ because it's difficult for the author to respond over there, so no reader/author interaction that feels like a conversation can take place.

On my LJ people can leave comments about non-story topics if they want to stay in touch.

I totally love the idea with the songs. But hey, it doesn't have to happen in a rush. I know you're busy with school, and although I've never made a fan video, I'm sure it takes a lot of time and concentration. That plan can wait a little longer.

This reminded me that I forgot to PM you! I'll do it sometime today. And look forward to yours.

Yeah, only seven years. I used to be a storyteller when I was a child and teen, but I didn't write things down. And some of those stories-- the M/M ones-- I only told myself!

Hmmm, when you put it like that about JJ, I guess you're right! Not that I'd do anything super-mean to him. Probably the most I would do would be to send him out to a nightclub wearing an outfit that's three years out of style, or perhaps make him accidentally drop chili sauce on his new designer shirt. He probably still remembers how humiliating the cake incident was in Suspended!

Yes, your new avatar is incredible! It had me laughing from the moment I opened my email notification. That is one tutorial I must not miss.

To be honest, I have autumn holidays at the moment, so I should be able to finish the video someday soon. ;) But I think at first I'm going to finish the video "FAKE - Song Movie". Not that you get confused: It's also a video with several songs, and it's going to be very funny. The video I'm going to make for you though is going to be called "Fanfiction set to music" or something like that.

Oh, that would be more than enough horror for JJ! I still remember the cake incident very well and how upset he was about it. Poor little buddy! Admittedly, when I read Suspended for the first time, I needed some minutes to stop laughing before I could start to feel sorry for him. Sorry, JJ! You're just too goofy sometimes. (No offense)

Aaaaand another avatar! Pyreflysky gave me the idea for this one. I'm really productive today.
I hope the tutorial works! It was the first time I made animated avatars myself so I was a bit confused while writing the tutorial, lol.
